What to expect on your first visit

We have two treatment rooms in our Salt Clinic in Omeath - one for parents with children and one for adults. Young children must be accompanied by a parent who will have free access to the treatment room.

During the treatment we simulate a microclimate like in a natural salt cave. A saline dispensing unit, which is classified by the European Council as a medical device Class 1 (lowest risk category) will release negatively ionized dry aerosol micro particles of salt into the room. We monitor temperature, humidity and salt concentration in the air. The surfaces of the treatments rooms are covered with natural salt which attract water molecules - that helps to maintain a stable hypoallergenic, hypobacterial environment throughout the whole session.

A modern air exchange system ensures that after each treatment the air is completely extracted and replenished.

You as a patient have nothing more to do than switch off your mobile, put on shoe covers and a hairnet (which will be provided by us), sit back in one of our comfortable chairs, relax into the tranquility of the room and BREATHE!
